Isobel's 4th Birthday

A day packed full of fun and excitement, Isobel relished the attention of her 4th birthday. She was surprisingly considerate, and shared her new scooter with Alexa, who was allowed to scoot to school that morning. Check out new scooter and cool new dress that coincidentally matches the scooter colour - thanks Annie. A big hit also the jewellery with clip on ear rings, two new nighties (already been borrowed by Alexa) and a neat sticker book that you can make girls faces with. First face she made in picture. Cake was lovingly made by Dad and Mum, cones decorated by Alexa, and had another tier for earlier party.

We Love Swimming

Alexa and Isobel have been having swimming lessons for the last two terms. It is great fun to watch their enthusiasm and confidence grow in the water. I am looking forward to the summer fun we will have at the beach. Recently I decided I would buy a new pair of goggles for Alexa and she was involved in the purchase for the first time. She chose (of course) a pink pair and was very very excited. So much so that that evening she wore them to bed. Here is the shot David took at about 9pm - she is fast asleep and didn't even wake when he pulled them off her noting that the suction was pretty tight!

Camryn follows with avid interest any of her big sisters activities. Come swimming time today she got the 'hat' and goggles and insisted she put them on and wear them around the house prior to our departure. Reckon she is a natural!

A Turangi holiday

Running running running and splat! What a considerate older sister.

Camryn in true sibling sporting rivalry has in her limited vocabulary. "Get set" "Go".
Her language has been slow to progress but she is quickly adding on with recent additions of "Lekka" and "Bell".
